Start with the useful thing
Good products begin with a clear problem, not a crowded feature list. I look for the smallest useful version and make that path feel solid.
Keep the system legible
The code, content, and interface should be understandable by the next person who touches them. Simple is a technical advantage.
Make room for change
A first release should create momentum without locking a team into decisions that have not been tested yet.
